about

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Juliana Simone is a Colombian/Brazilian actor, singer–songwriter, and musician who’s perpetually stuck in the memory of that jittery first sip of coffee that her tastebuds touched as a nine year old.

Juliana combines her rich theatrical background with her innate musical skills to create a captivating artistic identity. Credits include: The 25th Anniversary National Tour of LES MISÉRABLES (Little Cosette/Young Eponine), ON MY BLOCK’S: FREERIDGE on Netflix, SESAME STREET on PBS Kids, THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE (Mary L.) at UCLA, and FUN HOME (Small Alison) with UCLA ACT III Theatre Ensemble.

Juliana received her BA in Theater at UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television and had the privilege of studying abroad at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) for a semester of classical acting. She received the Rod Steiger Award for Excellence in Acting, the Ralph Freud Fellowship in Acting, the Kendra Pérez Memorial Scholarship, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Acting Fellowship during her time at UCLA, where she also co-produced the 2024 Acting Showcase.

She is also a singer, songwriter, and musician who shares personal experiences of loss, change, and her Latin heritage through expressive and nostalgic folk/rock melodies. Her original music can be found on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Soundcloud, etc. With almost 80,000 streams on Spotify and performance experience through UCLA’s Spring Sing 2024, Breaking Sound at Adult’s Only and Broken Shaker, and The Viper Room.

In her free time, Juliana can be found drinking a café con leche and laughing at her own jokes.
